Top Trends from the OneStream Splash User Conference 2022

On May 23 through May 26, Fidato Partners (now Eliassen Group) participated in the 2022 OneStream SplashTM User Conference held in San Antonio, TX. It was great to get back on the road to connect with our clients and partners. Our OneStream community spoiled us with amazing presentations, live music, and nights out on the riverwalk. The energy was electric after two-plus years of virtual meetings, and, as Fidato Partners (now Eliassen Group) is a Diamond-level OneStream implementation partner, we wanted to share some key new trends that emerged as OneStream has become a corporate performance management (CPM) leader.

Exponential Value

Creating exponential value within your organization was the key theme during the opening keynote speech by Craig Colby, OneStream President. OneStream has reshaped the finance technology CPM landscape to provide a wide range of app-like solutions, along with the core financial suite solutions for consolidation, planning and reporting, and analytics. As the best-in-class financial platform that prides itself on 100% customer satisfaction, OneStream continues to displace legacy point solutions and create exponential value for its customers of any company size, as well as any industry.

Adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)

The adoption of AI and ML highlighted the underlying conference theme to create exponential value in OneStream beyond the Office of Finance. OneStream is approaching AI and ML uniquely with a mission of providing a financially intelligent platform that can be extended to address operational-level requirements for the total enterprise. By eliminating the need for dedicated data scientists or additional software, OneStream’s platform can accelerate complex planning processes to drive user confidence and accurate results at a lower cost of ownership compared to alternative solutions. Both AI and ML will help Finance teams and business analysts analyze and correlate the most relevant internal and external variables that contribute to forecasting accuracy and performance across the Sales, Supply Chain, HR, and Marketing processes that comprise financial plans and results.

“The pace of change continues to accelerate the intersection of finance and operations, especially for our customers across retail, manufacturing, and consumer products industries. It’s critical that organizations unify CPM processes across the enterprise to drive timely and accurate insights,” said Tom Shea, CEO at OneStream. “With Sensible ML, OneStream customers can quickly create thousands of daily or weekly intelligent forecasts across products and locations. These forecasts can be run in parallel to help drive much more effective demand planning, sales forecasting, and integrated business planning processes – and do so on a continuous basis.”
