The Eliassen Group Biometrics and Data Solutions team will be attending the upcoming PharmaSUG U.S. Conference from May 8th – 11th in Denver, CO. With a mission of providing a forum for the exchange of information and new ideas surrounding the clinical research, pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, PharmaSUG offers an excellent opportunity to network and explore key topics of interest, including:
- Data standards such as CDISC SDTM
- Statistical methods and advanced analytics
- Submission standards
To this end, Eliassen Group's own Divyaja Padamati, a Senior SAS Programmer with clinical trials experience in various phases of the drug development process, will present two Quick Tips sessions on Tuesday afternoon. Below are the descriptions of each session:
Quick and Efficient Way to Check Transferred Data
Consistency, quality and timelines are the three milestones that everyone strives to achieve. Our SAS Programmers often work with data generated by a competitor company or external sources. Checking the data for compliance with CDISC or company standards is necessary and can be a big effort. This session covers how data checking can be achieved in a quick and efficient manner.
Keeping Up with Updating Dictionaries
Our SAS Programmers frequently work with data for poster presentations, manuscripts or for additional exploratory analyses after the CSR submission. These types of submissions frequently involve old databases and, in these cases, the programmers must be extra vigilant. This session addresses handling data associated with different dictionary versions.
